Put a note in his lunch box
One very sweet and romantic gesture is to put a note in his lunch box. Tell him that you love him or just write out your favorite sonnet for him. This will show him how deeply you think for him. You can also make the note naughty.
Send him an email
As couples we spend a lot of time together. The last thing that we expect is a romantic email in the midst of a busy day. Plan a romantic dinner
Candlelit dinners at expensive and posh restaurants have been done to death. Instead to keep the romance alive and to keep him excited, invite him for a candlelit dinner but make the venue your terrace or backyard. You could send him a formal invitation complete with a dress code and have music, flowers and champagne.
Plan a romantic getaway
Give your man the surprise of his life. Plan and gift him a special vacation. It could be a fun beach holiday or some alone time by the fireplace in a log cabin in the mountains. Plan the trip in detail…get the tickets, hotel reservation, activities etc all in place.
Play a game your way
Sometimes the most mundane things can be turned around and made exciting and interesting. Sizzle up a dull board game by trading with kisses or play strip poker. Choose a game and make your own rules. It’s romantic and cute and if you cheat, he surely will not complain.
Go camping
Spend a night under the stars and go camping. But add your own special twist and make it a romantic evening by carrying along some candles and wine. Share your special closeness in the silence of nature.
Do a movie night
A movie night can be quite romantic and exciting. Choose romantic or sexy flicks like the Thomas Crown Affair or Original Sin, then set the mood for something more by lighting candles and slipping into something more ‘comfortable’. Your man will never complain about movie watching once you are done with your romantic weekend movie night.
